5 Star villa in an excellent location

We have just returned from a 26 night stay at Casa Carra and our experience from booking to staying at the villa has been 5 star. The booking was very easy and efficient and we always felt comfortable with the process.

Communication between ourselves and the host was excellent.

The villa is located in the lovely and quiet complex of Las Buganvillas which is a 10 to 15 min walk away from the main areas of Playa Blanca where there are numerous shops, bars and restaurants. There is a local shop close to the complex where you can get all your basic essentials. There are plenty of bigger supermarkets down town and taxis only cost €4.

Our first impressions on arrival was Wow what a lovely villa and the inside did not disappoint us either. All the rooms were very spacious and welcoming and there is ample storage space in all the bedrooms. The kitchen has every appliance you would wish for and contributed to having an enjoyable stay. The welcome pack was a nice touch. The wide screen tv in the lounge has access via a set top box to numerous uk channels including sky and the sports and film channels are extensive. There are also loads of board games and books available. 

The villa pool is the jewel in the crown, decent size and heated. It is kept in pristine condition by the pool maintenance man who comes in twice a week. There are plenty of inflatables and toys which contribute to the enjoyment. Sun loungers are available for every guest and large pool towels are provided. There is also a tennis court on the complex and rackets and balls are available in the villa. The villa also has a decent size built in BBQ which was well used during our stay!

All in all we had a very enjoyable holiday at Casa Carra and the host Christine has gone the extra mile to make the stay comfortable and memorable. We would not hesitate to book this villa again.

Property  is on a quiet, select villa estate. On arrival, it was clean and tidy with     all facilities you need. Pool was clean and warm. There was a sign in     system on a tablet which was a great idea. The location is slightly out of     the main part of town. We didn't have a car, but found it was a 15 minute     pleasant walk to town.

Fabulous villa that is accurately described on the     listing. Very well equipped and spotlessly clean. Totally private pool and garden - very peaceful yet only a 15/20 minute walk to the centre of Playa     Blanca. Communication was first class with the owner. We were a couple only     (no kids for a change!!) and it was perfect but villa would suit families     equally. Overall faultless and would love to return.

Loved our stay at casa Cara suited our needs. Lazy days around the pool very quiet peaceful area. A 20 minute walk takes you into Playa Blanca plenty of fab places to eat and drink. Loved Playa Blanca lovely cosmopolitan vibe. Great communicatiin with owner who was quick to sort out some minor issues.

We had a really lovely three weeks at Casa Carra 😊 The villa was beautiful and having the private pool was fab!!  The villa was very comfortable and the air conditioning in the two main bedrooms was ideal.  

We had some gorgeous meals in Playa Blanca, we especially liked your recommendation of Indian Delights restaurant, and we also really enjoyed the seafood in Brisa Marina, the paella was delicious.  It is only a 20 minute walk into Playa Blanca, and a taxi back was only 5 euros.  We hired a car for the full three weeks and saw a lot of beautiful Lanzarote, we really enjoyed a sunny afternoon in Arrecife, and visited Puerto Calero for lunch several times too.  

We had a lovely aholiday and would love to return at some point in the future 😊

Real home from home Beautiful Villa. Everything we wanted and more, furnishings superb and super comfortable beds and pillows. Pool warm and inviting, loads of extras, lilo’s ,pool accessories. etc. Lots of British TV channels were a great asset. Nothing was too much trouble for the villa support team, Summing it all up, a brilliant holiday in a brilliant Villa. Well done Christine (the owner) and thanks for your advice and support when needed.

We found the villa to be really comfortable - it had everything we needed, including pool towels which really helped us with our luggage allowance. The location was great, we were able to walk into town of an evening (and enjoyed the odd scooter ride home too!).

Two minor comments were the air conditioning unit in the master bedroom kept whirring, even when switched off. It didn't cause us particular bother thankfully. Also the pool wasn't as warm as we'd hoped - the reviews suggested it would be warm, but at 25 degrees it was maybe a little cooler than we'd choose. It didn't stop us going in though! 

All in all, we had a great time and would definitely come back!

Apologies for your problems which may have put a damper on your overall experience of Casa Carra.  Without guests like yourselves pointing out these issues we wouldn’t be able to sort them out.  It must have been disappointing to find the pool cooler than expected. 

Apart from that I am jealous of your adventures on the scooters which we hope to try when we are over at New Year.  

Air conditioning engineers will check the units again on the next gap in guests and I have asked Ben the pool man to check and increase pool temperature.

I really appreciate you taking the time to provide your feedback including your niggles which are being addressed.

 19 August 2020· Just returned from a fabulous week with the family and stayed  at fantastic family oriented villa Casa  Carra InPlaya Blanca. The villa was like being at home everything tre for you and only a 15 minute walk to Playa Blanca which we did every day. Everyone enjoyed the pool, the loungers and patio set were very comfortable. We visit Lanzarote every year and hopefully Casa Carra will be available for us to return in 2021. Highly recommend.

19 October at 20:08 · Just returned from a fabulous week at the amazing Casa Carra.  Washing machine meant no need to come home to case loads of washing!!  Everyone enjoyed the heated pool, which is a bonus especially in winter months and plenty of loungers and beach towels for a family of 6. The air con keeps the villa cool in the heat and the sky Tv was an added bonus, especially for the boys watching the football!! The villa is set a 15min walk down to the main part of town. We got the ferry across to Fuerteventura for the day, costing €29 per adult. Overall a great villa with all you need and More and excellent communication throughout with Christine. I'm already looking at date for next year to book again!! 

Lynne Russell 28 September · It's amazing - a total home from home experience. The villa had everything you need. It's a short walk into the main town and only around €4 in a taxi. I would highly recommend this villa.

The villa  has 3 bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen, including dishwasher & washing machine, so no need to come home to case loads of washing!!  The villa has a sun terrace which is shaded, fantastic for dining al Fresco and a BBQ if you wish to cook outside. The villa is set in the residential Area of Las Bungasvillas, which is a 15min walk down to the town, where you will find gorgeous beaches, amazing restaurants and many shops. At the end of the complex you will find a well stocked supermarket and cash and carry for all your food and drink essentials, including British brands. The market takes place at the marina twice a week, Wednesday & Saturday which is worth a look. We got the ferry across to Fuerteventura for the day, costing €29 per adult, which is a great day out and the chance to see another one of the canaries.Overall a great villa with all you need and More and excellent communication throughout with Christine.I’am already looking at date for next year to book again!! Beautiful  Villa. Everything we wanted and more, furnishings superb and super comfortable beds and pillows.
